Student Ministry Placements
Taylor College believes in providing Christian Service opportunities to our Students, emulating the model seen in Jesus’ equipping of the disciples, whereby He taught them, He showed them, He allowed them to practice ministry themselves under His observation, and finally He let them minister by themselves.

This is done by assigning a Nine Month Ministry Placement for a maximum of 10 hours per week:
- In a setting in which a ministry of evangelism may be exercised.
with competent supervision. - Requiring monthly theological reflection assignments of the students.
- Requiring Students and Mentors to submit complete three and six month ministry evaluation forms, each co-signing the other’s.
- Requiring end of placement reports from the student and the local supervisor; each co-signing the other’s.
Our objective in this program is to:
- Test and discern Student’s gifts and calling.
- Provide Students a practical outlet for theoretical and classroom principles.
- Provide opportunity for theological reflection of practical ministry experiences.
- Provide, within a safe supervised context, opportunities for Students to explore, grow, and stretch into new ministries.
- Model for Students a Biblical method of discipleship
