Why I Support...

Upon reflection when asked why we support Taylor College, we find our answer to be a simple one.

We believe God calls men and women of all ages and backgrounds, who have a burden for the lost, to come to Taylor College in order to be trained and prepared to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the hurting ones of our world.

We believe Threshold Ministries has a special ministry which God uses to draw many who are outside the usual reach of professional clergy, and for this reason we are pleased to support the training of people at Taylor College.

In 1967, my daughter Barbara married Graham and a couple of months later they entered the [then Training College in Toronto] College.

The training they received was invaluable and a great launching pad for their future. They have lived and served in Alberta since Graham's ordination in 1976. Barbara now works full time as a Chaplain at Foothills Hospital in Calgary.

I am encouraged to read of other young people who enter Taylor College and I admire their commitment. As good stewards we try to put God's money where it will be wisely used for God's Kingdom.

May God continue to call young men and women so they may be trained to be agents of change in God's service.
